I've been teaching about CSR for almost 2 semesters, but this CSR training made me feel that i knew nothing about CSR. The new system of CSR is already launched, named ISO26000. Facilitated by Eka Tjipta Foundation and Interdev, a CSR Training Organizer.First, i thought CSR is only related to social activities: bakti sosial, donations, etc. Today my perception has been flipping around 270 degrees. CSR was not only social work, but also all activities related to adding value to the priority stakeholders. Stakeholders are: customer, government, media, vendors/suppliers, public, employees, etc. So, it was wider scope and definition of CSR. There are 7 core subjects of CSR, such as human rights, fair operational practices, labour practices, Community involvement and development, environment, consumer issues, and organization governance.
Well, at least i got something from this training. Besides new friends, good refreshing, and also some real actions to do. It's related to CSR planning that I have to run in Smartfren in the very short time.
